David trained with Segwick, Turner, Sworder and Wilson in Watford and qualified as a Solicitor in 1972. He joined Russell Jones and Co in that year and became a Partner in 1976. He deals with a wide range of commercial matters and has particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions of companies. He became Head of the Commercial Department in 1997. In 2008 he followed in his father's footsteps by becoming Senior Partner of Hawkins Russell Jones.
