Most people are aware that litigation can be expensive, time consuming and sometimes an unpredictable method of resolving disputes. Once court proceedings are issued the timescale is determined by the court with little control able to be exerted by the parties. Mediation gives parties the opportunity to maintain control over the resolution process whilst keeping costs down and often removing the confrontational aspects that can cause positions to become more entrenched.
Geraldine Kennedy is an accredited mediator in the field of commercial mediation and is qualified to assist in the settlement of all commercial matters. Fees are generally shared between the parties and are assessed on the value of the dispute and the time taken.
